About
Giving you the beauty you deserve, through expertise.
Dr. Gan Lee Ping practises across skin health, facial aesthetics, body composition, hair health and longevity medicine — treating them as a single, connected discipline rather than five separate services. The Journal is where that thinking is written down.
Working Principles
01
Understanding before treatment
Every recommendation begins with understanding the skin in context. Its tone, texture and resilience are considered alongside the structural changes beneath, so treatment addresses the cause rather than the appearance alone.
02
Evidence before trend
Aesthetic and longevity trends move quickly; the underlying physiology does not. Decisions are weighed against what is well-supported, not against what is currently popular.
03
Restraint before escalation
The smallest intervention that plausibly addresses the underlying issue is the default starting point. More is added only when the evidence, not the calendar, suggests it.
04
Healthspan before appearance
Where the two are in tension, function and long-term health take priority over how a result photographs in the short term.
The work is to keep a face and a body functional and well-proportioned for decades — not just to produce a striking result for a single photograph.
On the Journal
Why this is written down at all
Most aesthetic and longevity decisions are made with incomplete information, often under time pressure, in a single conversation. The Journal exists to give that conversation a head start — laying out the reasoning behind a domain, a protocol, or a common question, in more detail than a consultation alone allows.
It is organised by five domains — Skin, Face, Body, Hair and Longevity — each explored through individual articles, so that a specific question can usually be answered directly rather than buried in a general overview.
Consultation
Begin with a consultation
Every plan starts with an individual assessment — no protocol is recommended before one.
